Features that are preferable in good night vision scopes

Either during the day or during the night, to ensure the accurate sighting of targets during hunting, rifle scopes, can be very helpful. Sometimes, the right rifle scope can make a world of difference, between hitting a target and missing it. During the night and in total darkness, a night vision scope is very important to properly sight and hit the target, without which you might have to shoot at the target, blindly.

But buying any night vision scope is not feasible; so what are the features that made a good one? As with any other optical instrument, magnification plays an important role when choosing the right scope. This feature is very important, to clearly see targets that might be at a distance. But too much magnification is also harmful as, it reduces the field of vision. Thus, a magnification of about five times is feasible. A multi-coat eyepiece is especially necessary for those scopes, which are used for night time hunting.

Generally preferable with all spotting scopes, precision aiming system is also a necessary feature with night vision scopes. This makes it possible to accurately aim at the target. Generally a red precision marking over a green background is a comfortable and preferable choice. Easy adjustment facility is another handy feature, which makes the spotting scopes more easy to use.
